Plain language first: TALINT is a behavioral assessment tool. It produces results based on your self-reported answers. It is not a clinical instrument, not a hiring tool, and not a substitute for professional judgment. Use it to understand yourself and your team better. Don't use it to make consequential decisions about people on its own.
TALINT is a team performance assessment platform operated by Echotyr. It produces behavioral profiles based on user-submitted responses across four layers: Role Strengths, Fuel/Drain, Communication Type, and Peer Review (Alignment).
Results reflect patterns in self-reported and peer-reported behavior. They are designed to support self-awareness and team communication — not to certify, classify, or make determinations about a person's fitness, capability, or character.
TALINT is not any of the following, and should not be used as any of the following:
Using TALINT results as the sole or primary basis for any of the above is explicitly outside the intended use of this product. Echotyr accepts no liability for consequences arising from such use.
The Peer Review layer collects anonymous ratings from people who work with the assessed individual. Results are delivered to the person being reviewed.
Peer review results should not be used against the person being reviewed in employment decisions, performance reviews, or disciplinary actions. The instrument is designed for development — not evaluation. Using peer review data in an employment context exposes the organization to legal risk that Echotyr cannot accept liability for.
Organizations and individuals that purchase TALINT accept responsibility for ensuring the tool is used within its intended scope. This includes ensuring that results are not used as the basis for employment decisions, disciplinary actions, or any consequential determination about a person's fitness, capability, or character.
Echotyr bears no liability for how results are applied once delivered. Any harm, claim, or consequence arising from misuse of TALINT results — including use in employment, legal, clinical, or evaluative contexts for which the tool is not designed — rests solely with the purchasing party. By using TALINT, you accept this allocation of responsibility in full.
TALINT results are based on your answers. The accuracy of your results depends on the honesty and accuracy of your responses. Results are not guaranteed to be error-free. They are not predictions of future performance, permanent characterizations, or clinical diagnoses.
Results may be updated, revised, or modified as the platform evolves. Echotyr does not guarantee that results will remain identical across different versions of the assessment.
All purchases on TALINT are final. Because results are delivered digitally and immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds after a transaction is completed.

All assessment content, narratives, scoring logic, frameworks, and product design are owned by Echotyr. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from TALINT content without written permission.
Your results belong to you. You may share them at your discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echotyr and TALINT are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this product — including but not limited to decisions made based on assessment results, employment actions, relationship outcomes, or business decisions.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of TALINT is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date. Continued use of TALINT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
